The Call - you hear a call from deep within you
Starting from a whisper to a drone to the first breath (life) - to a pulse and ending with a scream -
something calls from within that you can't ignore anymore.
the glass shatters - the veil of "maya" (illusion) is broken and you have to respond to the Call.
Journey - the journey begins
Empty Palace - the palace can symbolize the world as well as our body. empty corridors reflecting light and shadows . . . all archetypal images that exist within us
we are the dolls that move and dance in time attached to the strings of time
Rose -the delicacy of the rose but with it's thorns symbolizes life and death, male and female, strength and weakness - and blood and tears. we must become a rose - blossoming from a bud to a full flower - only to have our petals scatter and fly away
Lake - water - symbol of life - of purification - only when we have washed away all notions and taboos can we become pure - are we ready for the sacrifice to find out what exists at the end of the empty corridors of the palace? What is the call? Where does it come from?
Metamorphosis - emergence of the beast - the transformation is inevitable
like an alien giving birth, the beast is growing within - nourished and nourtured by the pure waters it finally emerges in full glory -
The theme is the same as always - it is the eternal journey one takes to unite with the forces of the universe.
